Global Gold International Refining (Pty) Ltd is a South African company focusing on green initiatives and the upliftment of the precious metals industry from mine to retail. We offer advanced refining methods aimed at recycling and refining precious metals according to our client’s very specific needs and in such a way as to make it available to all at an affordable rate. Our services are aimed at local and international refineries as well as local start-ups and jewellers.

Leadership

NOEL DUNCAN

Director

Noel has run a successful business in the Jewellery industry, including refining, casting and minting of precious and non-precious metals since 1991 to date. He also currently holds a beneficiation license registered with the South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (S.A.D.P.M.R.). Noel has setup minting facilities for Cape Precious Metals, Precious Metals Tswane and Silk Route Gold previously. He has assisted various refineries and benificiators over the past 35 years in the industry. He has demonstrated strong leadership skills in managing a team of administrative and operational staff. He has recently setup a minting facility in Mauritius in the free port zone for jewellery casting and minting of coins and medallions.

RUDI KRIEDEMANN

GENERAL MANAGER

Rudi is an experienced businessman, project manager, and operational director in various commodities as well as construction. Over the last 12 years he has quickly become well versed in various gold, silver and other PGM extraction systems. Rudi is the competent person for Global Gold International Refining and has assisted in starting up and implementing specific processes and procedures to ensure the quality and service provided are of the best. Rudi has also assisted other refineries in starting up and consulted to various refineries throughout the world, including Dubai and Zambia. Rudi’s attention to detail and project management skills ensures that the correct systems are in place to provide high speed efficiency and quality to all our clients.

JACOBUS MARTIN

REFINERY MANAGER

Cobus has over 20 years experience within the refining industry and completed a refining course at a Johannesburg based refinery. Cobus has managed all aspects of a refinery, from melting, granulating, casting, refining, and eluting. Cobus has a deep understanding of the reactivity serious of metals, accompanied by an excellent knowledge and world of experience in leaching and refining by means of aqua-regia. These qualities enable Global Gold International Refining to have the ability to extract gold and silver from almost any material utilizing chemicals. We are able to assist many clients in establishing a method of extraction with problematic material in a way that best suites their needs.

HAMILTON “MTHANDENI” NHLAPO

REFINEY ASSISTANT

Hamilton has studied and participated in the Executive Leadership Municipal Development Programme as well as having an extensive academic and career history which equipped him with the perfect skills to assist Cobus in the refinery. His skills extend to leadership in the work environment, corporate governance, environmental health and law, project management, and government relations, to name but a few.
