With our induction smelters we are able to cater for clients who would like larger quantities of product smelted and cast into ingots, as well as those clients with individual or small quantities. The benefits of our inductions smelters include a cleaner, more energy-efficient and well-controlled melting process in comparison to most other means of metal melting. Our melting process is comprehensive and quick across the board and we are able to alloy specific carats of gold as per our client’s requirements.

We specialize in refining gold with an ability to refine up to 99.99% purity. Our precious metals are fully recovered, and we are able to sell or return it to the client in whichever form they request.

We have also guaranteed an exceptionally low carbon footprint and the ability to recycle all usable metals via our closed system approach. We recover all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals from the product and neutralize the solution before disposal. With our fully ISO accredited 4-stage scrubbing system, we are also able to release clean air back into the atmosphere.

Granulating

For those who do not require ingots, we have two granulators which allow us to granulate the final product into a size which is readily used by jewellers and other industry consumers.

Eluting gold from carbon

Global Gold International Refinery’s four elution plants allow us to remove gold from loaded carbon, catering for up to 3.5 tons at a time. Our cycle is approximately 72 hours, dependent on the loading and grading of the carbon.

Milling

We have a 500kg ball mill which allows us to mill materials which are too coarse and ensure that their sizing is correct for maximum recovery.

Gravity separation

We boast a spinner/concentrator along with a triple deck gravity table that is designed to separate and test materials which are susceptible to gravity separation. This is a cost-effective way of collecting free gold from any material.

Flotation separation

For the harder to separate material, along with various PGM material, we have a single cell flotation plant which can process batches of up to 500kg’s per load.

Recovery from electronic boards

Global Gold International Refining (Pty) Ltd has developed a unique system of recovering the precious metals from electronic boards. We believe that this solution will allow us to process the necessary volumes of electronic board waste in order to stop the current build-up of these toxic metals in dump sites.

Once recovered, we are able to recycle the precious metals from the electronic boards and sell them back into the industry for re-use. This minimizes the volume of new metals required in a rapidly expanding industry.
